We had rainy weather today so, I made pork chops, stuffing, cranberry sauce, roasted parm red potatoes and an apple pie.

Oregon

I went with my parents to Oregon over the weekend. I missed going on "roadtrips" with my parents. We ate at Sumpter Junction, where we ate all the time when I was younger. They have a train that travels around the entire restaurant. Yadin loved the train. We then arrived at my dad's aunt Carolyn's house, where we stayed for one night. I appreciated the good stories and hospitality. Thank you! The following day we went to my dad's great aunt Stella's outdoor funeral, it was very short and peaceful. I had never met her but, I think it was right of me to pay my respects. Then we took a very short drive (39 miles), around Cove and back to La Grande. My grandfather Kermit (my dad's dad) was born in Cove, Oregon - a very quaint town.

Fall Wish List/Inspiration

So, every season inspires me differently in Fashion. I have been seeing so many cute item

so, I thought I would post an inspiration wish list.

I am loving the rain we have been having here the passed couple of days. However, it is making me miss my home down south.
Now I need a tin roof, a front porch, few rocking chairs, a ceiling fan on my porch roof, a ton of hanging plants and some sweet tea or Community coffee. The rain also needs to be a little harder, maybe a couple of Thunderhead clouds.

I love the rain.

Weekend

Sorry, I didn't do any blogging over the weekend. I was going to with my phone - I kept getting sidetracked. Yadin is so funny, he makes me forget about everything and just want to watch what he's doing 24/7. :)

This weekend I went to Joann's with my mother and good friend. I picked out my fabric for the dress I will soon start to sew, probably start this next Saturday. It turned out to be NONE of the ones I had found and liked. I also bought a huge thing of cotton yarn and started my first dishcloth, I will have to take a picture of the very first one because, it is my first time ever doing crochet!!

Big Apple

I would love to visit the "Big Apple" one day. My mom has a friend, Mary Lu, she is also Yadin's godmother, but she has lived there before and we always talk about going with her - it's just SO expensive. I hope we get to one day while I am still young.

Dress Fabric

I am making a dress as soon as I find a fabric I absolutely LOVE! I found three that may be potentials - I might just have to buy all three for future projects, but I don't know which one I like the MOST for this dress. I also can't wait until I finish the dress so I can post it on here for you guys to see!!

Shots

Yadin got his one year shots today, he wasn't very happy about it. I wouldn't be either. I do not like shots; I can stand getting my blood taken and getting tattoos, but shots? No thanks.

I really would like to try to do these nails!!

I would put glitter on each nail but, I honestly think I am in love with the color of the nail polish used.

Hi New Me

I thought I would start a whole new blog, I have started a whole new life, a whole new me. I figured I could just keep some of my thoughts and interests in this blog. A lot has changed in one entire year. I had my beautiful son, Yadin in Sept. 2010, and now he has turned ONE!!! Time flew by with him, I wish I could have this year back, and re-watch it all over again. I am going to have another baby boy in Nov. 2011; I am nervous for this one because, they will be 14 months apart...am I crazy? Probably.
